Gym Shame

Gym Shame

Lifting heavy grows muscles only once, you have to lift long, and that means lifting light.

It means laugher, ridicule, rumors, shame, and the champs, using you as an example of how not to body build.

But these professionals have mistaken, doing what everyone else is doing, for doing it right.

Let me give you a tactic you can use to avoid shame, as you lift your heavy weights instead of resting…

Lift 5lb dumbbells, this way you will make the champs see, that you don’t even need to rest.

But I highly recommended, you don’t try to impress anybody at all, especially our bullies.

As you replace rest with dumbbells, you will quickly tire your muscles out.

That is why you need to cycle dumbbell exercises, go from biceps to overhead shoulder and lateral raise.

This way you don’t have to stop, as your muscles rest.

Here you will face another problem, you will lack endurance to cycle your standing dumbbell exercises.

Endurance is what joggers excel at, and like a jogger you have to carefully expand your run while eliminating rest.

You can use song parts as landmarks, or get an interval timer, and again aim to eliminate rest.

A this point, you might as well replace your main exercise, as chances are it required sitting, or laying down.

Switch to walking back and fort, like a crazed animal, while performing standing dumbbell exercises.

Do this non stop for an hour, and you are well on your way to become a bodybuilder.

Lifting your heavy will become very difficult, so you will have to adjust your heavy down.

This process of lowering your heavy, while working your way up with light…

Will lead you to the weight you can actually lift, at first, most often it is just 5 pounds.

Lacking that jogger endurance, you will be force to rest.

But now you have an aim, close the rest gaps, no matter how light the dumbbells build the endurance.

That is real exercise, your body is adapting to lift longer, and it will grow.

By now, you will realize that to cutting of your circulation with heavy weights, and calling it a muscle failure, is a myth.

Lifting wrong, will give you muscle, but only the first time.

Lifting long and longer, eliminating all rest, going non-stop, and increasing dumbbell weight is how you induce muscle growth.

Your body will adapt to 5lb per hand, and let you lift 7.5lb, though, you may need to mix it in slowly.

From 7.5 you fo to 10, and 12.5, and 15, and you don’t need anybody’s advice by that point.

But notice how your hour’s worth of endurance is a platform, upon which you can slowly increase dumbbell weights as your body adapts.

Now look at lifting heavy, you can’t lift for long enough, to ever adapt to lift heavier.

People who do this corner themselves, on the first plateau, and never grow muscle again.

This is Gym Shame, year after year, they must lift heavy, and never grow muscle again.

There is no platform there to adapt on, the body just sees the sitting, and some minor strain for a few seconds.

Is it just dumbbells? Yes, it must be, because by walking back and forth you get a full body exercise.

Full body means you never have trouble getting of the couch, because you are always in a flexible gymanstic-like state.

As to how to do anything for three hours, you enter a dance trance by moving to the beats of your songs.

One beat up, next beat down.

Hours, will feel like minutes.

This is where a clip-on interval timer becomes useful, a vibrate function will alert you to when to stop when to end rest.

And you can keep almost all your focus on moving to the beats, you don't have to look at the clock.

You should start with slow songs, slow in terms of beats per minute, or BPM, country and romantic music are a good source.

So, you walk into a gym, and start pacing back and forth with dumbbells to the beats of songs.

Use whatever weight you can carry the longest, don’t worry you will go higher as your body adapts.

That is bodybuilding, that is how you do it for real.

Lift light, though not so light that you can lift more, and never ever so heavy that you are forced to stop.
