Walking & Biscuits: Toughest Diet There Is
Our bodies don't fare well with obesity, we have to be careful, and should we cross the line, get walking.
You should walk the Appalachian Trail if you like such things, but a cute little wilderness, is all you need.
A private fire, where you have to gather wood, and a quiet place to have some sausage and a good night is all you need.
The diet is all about your eating habits, and a little wilderness, like Michigan’s Nordhouse.
Or even Ludington State Park hike-in sites, changes both the food you eat, and the reason why you eat it.
But you can’t just stay for two weeks, it is a three month adventure, each week a different camping site.
An adventurer, has her beginning in the living room, or a backyard tent.
Nature loves you, it means you no harm, but you must always avoid, putting yourself in harms way.
And remember that Raccoons are friends, and that woodland raccoons work hard, at being very clean.
Though they may listen to your stories, they only really care only care to see if you are OK.
If one does, you get to name them, I called mine Friday - friends for life.
Henry Thoreau more than perfected adventure when he decided to have his biscuits delivered.
Of course, adventure is a one way road, you never return to what was making you ill.
We live in an imperfect, unfair and often exceeding cruel world, we are neither cattle, nor born poor, nor is it your job to fix the world.
Your job is to grow all the way up until you become a great being, and enjoy a full measure of your one, and majestic life.
Small men will dismiss such things as fancy, leave them to the world they created.
You are not livestock, you are a fierce warrior, meant to become a great being.
People will accuse you of not being part of the whole, those are just whimpers of tame defeated creatures.
It is tough that tent and backpack must come first, but you must make your way to the books as fast as possible.
You will discover pretending to learn for good grades, has the effect of disabling your learing ability.
Hence you need months on the trail, until narrated books call to you, until you become a narrator too.
You cannot go alone, even Henry wasn’t alone, and you may not let the call of the wild keep you.
Nor should you ever be reckless, or unwise, the quest is the only Holy thing there is.
The quest is not optional, becoming a philosopher is the first step to growing all the way up.
And there will be many steps ahead of you, the world is always changing.
And a part of it, is always advancing for the better.
You will live to know times, that you cannot imagine today.
Best be ready, Traveler.
